Delegates Chosen To Represent

Local 1233 At 2007 Conventions In Florida

On March 14, 2007, the membership took a powerful position on electing five additional delegates that will represent Local 1233 at the Atlantic Coast District Convention / International Longshoreman's Association Convention during the weeks of July 15th thru 27th in Hollywood, Florida.

Delegates chosen are: Ali Vining, Norman Jackson, Ozzie Burton, Jay Sharpe and Dwayne Easley. They will join the Local's three Officials who are already delegates; President William Bernard Dudley, Business Agent Herbert Hall, Sr., and Secretary-Treasurer Gregory L. Taylor. Along with the delegates, our ILA Local 1233 Press Team will also be attending to bring back valuable information to the membership.

During the 2 week convention, these delegates will be part of the electoral procedures that choose our International and District officers for the coming period.
