PNCT Launches Safety Campaign

For Straddle Drivers

"On October 1st, PNCT of Newark/ Elizabeth Marine Terminal began is first safety awareness campaign for the straddle drivers called "The Focus Five". During the five day week, drivers were given a different safety rule each day to focus and keep safety first. PNCT hosts some of the nations finest straddle operators in one of the world's busiest port. This safety campaign was created and spearheaded by Joey Pinho (Safety Coordinator) in order to bring focus to safety procedures and issues that were taught to the well experienced drivers since their training days. In the near future, the same program will be set up for rail and hustler drivers but with a different set of rules.  Below are the safety rules set up day-by-day:
