Bro. Haleem (Norman Jackson) Talk About His Convention Experience.

Reporter: What was the best part of the convention for you?

Haleem: Getting information about what's happening in my industry and what I can look forward to in the next 5 to 10 years. And the camaraderie there at the convention. Being with people I know in our industry I don't see or socialize with on a regular bases.

Reporter: Did you learn anything that could be applied or used to or by the local?

Haleem: I don't know of anything that could be directly applied to the local other than information. Everything that we try to supply on a regular bases is information. It is important that this information goes back to the rank & file / membership.

Reporter: What were some of the topics that the speakers spoke about that interested you?

Haleem: I was interested in everything that was informational and educational about our industry.

Reporter: Was there anything not discussed that you thought should have been discussed?

Haleem: Usually the agenda is pretty extensive. No, I don't think anything was left out.

Reporter: What would you like to tell others from your local about the convention?

Haleem: This is a place that everyone in our local needs to go to better their understanding and education about our industry. The convention would help you to better understand our industry. Probably one thing that will make you happier and have a better appreciation for your job is to attend this convention.

Reporter: Was there anything that could have been done better at the convention?

Haleem: This convention could have been better organized. I have been to many and this was not the best organized.
